My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced SAP Migration Project Manager to lead a critical SAP migration initiative. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for successfully planning, executing, and overseeing the migration of our SAP systems, ensuring a seamless transition while meeting project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.


Responsibilities:


1. Project Planning and Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for SAP migration, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear migration strategies, goals, and success criteria.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the migration project.

2. Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including SAP specialists, technical experts, and external consultants if necessary.
• Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Provide guidance, support, and motivation to keep the team focused on project goals.

3. Budget and Resource Management:

• Manage the project budget, including resource allocation and procurement of necessary tools or services.
• Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget.

4. Migration Execution:

• Oversee the migration process, ensuring that it aligns with best practices and minimizes disruption to business operations.
• Coordinate data migration activities, testing, and validation efforts.
• Collaborate with technical teams to address any technical challenges during migration.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their involvement and buy-in throughout the migration.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Define and enforce quality standards for the migration process, including data accuracy and system performance.
• Implement thorough testing and validation procedures to identify and resolve issues promptly.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and status reports.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and project sponsors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on SAP migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with risk management and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with SAP migration tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
