Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• You are expected to achieve targets set which involves calling of policyholders on a daily basis to initiate recovery;
• Engage and communicate with our policyholders to gather information and assist them in claim submission to third party;
• Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to proceed with the claims recovery process;
• Demonstrate and ensure standard operating procedures are met when handling outbound and inbound calls with policyholders and financial consultants;
• Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of call activities and outcomes;
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery and/or claim operations experience or Admin background.
• Prior experience in customer service will be an added advantage;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Team player as well as capable of individual performance;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Good interpersonal, analytical and negotiation abilities required;
• Knowledge of life insurance policy coverage, statutes, regulations and subrogation processing is a plus
