The Centre for Advanced Robotics Technology Innovation(CARTIN) are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AutonomousRobotics Software Engineer to join ourteam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintainsoftware for autonomous sweepingvehicles.
• Conduct field testing trials tovalidate software performance andreliability.
• Provide software and computersupport, including setting up and troubleshooting computer-relatedmatters.
• Develop software tools, sensors,actuator drivers for testing safety-critical modules and sensors inrobotic systems.
• Assist in integrating custommodules into complex software stacks.
• Work withSubject Matter Experts (SMEs) to carry out software acceptancetesting, including unit, functional, and load testing, and organizetest result records.
• Manage and deploy softwarecommits for field testing, ensuring timely updates andmaintenance.

JobRequirements:

• Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or arelated field. A Master's degree ispreferred.
• 2-6 years of experience in C++/ROSdevelopment.
• Hands-on experience in roboticsand mechatronics.
• Experience with deploying ROSin real-world environments.
• Familiar withrobotic sensor and actuator hardware such asLiDAR.
• Strong problem-solving skills and theability to work in a multi-disciplinaryteam.
• Experience in developing software forcleaning systems or similarapplications.
• Familiarity with roboticstechnologies.
• Knowledge of machine learningapplications in robotics.
• Experience withsoftware development life cycles, including design, implementation,deployment, andmaintenance.
